Services
INDIVIDUAL MUSIC THERAPY SESSIONS
Individual music therapy sessions begin with an initial assessment, from which goals and objectives will be developed. The music therapist will consult with parents or other treatment professionals, if applicable. Frequency of sessions will be recommended by the music therapist, and approved by client and caregiver.
GROUP MUSIC THERAPY SESSIONS
Group music therapy sessions are available in various lengths of time. The music therapist will travel to the facility, providing all instruments needed, and conduct groups that assist participants in achieving goals. Community groups (ex: children with special needs, parent and infant) can also be formed dependent on interest.
FACILITY CONTRACTS
Maestro Music Therapy is available to contract both individual and group music therapy services within your facility.
TELEHEALTH
We now offer Teleheath services for those who are immunocompromised or have other medical issues and would feel safer receiving remote services. This option is also available to those outside our coverage area.
THERAPEUTIC SONGWRITING
If you would like an individualized song created for your loved one, the music therapist can work with you and your family to create a special song that can be treasured. Our music therapist can assist in creating a song for your loved one’s funeral, or before the birth of a child. This service is not clinical music therapy, and will include 1-2 meetings/conversations, and a final recording.
COMMUNITY AND ADAPTIVE MUSIC CLASSES
Music making and engagement will be the main goal of these music classes, and each week will include creative ways to engage in music and music making. Open to individuals of all ages and abilities! Classes also available via telehealth. Please note, these are not music therapy classes.
We are always available to schedule a phone consultation to further describe services, and for you to feel out if music therapy would be right for you, your loved one or your facility.
